Massage Therapy

As a licensed massage therapist, I offer two types of services: corporate massage for injury prevention and stress relief at office locations, and spa-type massage in the comfort of your home.

Chair massage leads to employee goodwill

Corporate Massage - I do corporate massage in office environments for employees during the course of their normal work day. Work is aimed mainly at stress relief focusing on the upper back, neck, shoulders, arms and hands. I also do specialized sessions for prevention and treatment of wrist and elbow injuries, and foot massage.

Massage in the business setting has many benefits to you, your company and employess: it enhances creative thinking, improves job satisfaction, helps recuit top talent to your company, and perhaps most important, helps prevent repetitive strain injury, reducing employee down-time.

Chair massage is also a terrific tool to draw crowds to your marketing event. It attracts massive amounts of attention to your trade show booth, for example, and people will associate the positive feelings from the chair massage with your event and your company. It also keeps customers in your booth longer, attracting attention and interest to your booth.

You can use massage as a reward for your employees or as a monthly benefit that you offer your staff. In a tough economy it shows appreciation to your employees in a meaningful way without having to spend to much.

Corporate massage is done with clients fully clothed. Individual sessions are usually paid for by the company, but in some settings may be paid for by the individuals receiving them. A minimum of 6 clients must reserve time in order to book a corporate masage session.

Corporate Setting Massage Prices:

Upper Back & Shoulders - 15 minutes: $20
Wrist, Hand, Forearm - 15 minutes: $20
Foot Massage - 20 minutes: $25

Individual General Massage - It's hard to beat a terrific general massage for stress relief and an overall feeling of well-being, but finding a great therapist that you feel comfortable with can be challenging.

I first became certified to do massage back in 1992, which is when I also began practicing aromatherapy. I began working in a 4-star golf resort in the Colorado mountains and eventually became the massage program coordinator for the resort spa. I've had lots of experience with all kinds of body types. While managing the massage program at the resort, which catered entirely to tourists, I also had my own practice with a local clientele. Due to excessive wrist strain, I took a break from massage after moving to Florida and became licensed to practice in Florida years later.

I do massages by referral. Clients are either people I know personally or are referred to me by people I know.

Relaxation Massage - 50 minutes $45
This massage uses aromatherapy and lasts approximately one hour. It is very hypnotic and soothing to the nervous system. Stimulating the lymphatic system, it helps to flush away toxins as it takes cares and worries with it. Uses a lighter touch than my other work. Excellent for stress.

Deep Tissue Swedish Massage - 75 minutes $65
This is my "signature" massage, and also incorporates aromatherapy. Very relaxing, yet oriented more toward releasing patterns of chronic tension held in the body. A powerful massage that will leave you feeling rejuvenated from head to toe.

Body Insight Therapy - 30 minutes $40
A form of neuromuscular re-education for the person who wants deep work in specific problem areas. This work can be incredibly powerful. Body Insight is a proprietary for of deep muscle work that releases both body and mind from patterns of chronic tension and the "muscle memory" keeping them in place.

Traditional Thai Massage - 60 minutes $50
This massage is done on a mat with the client fully clothed, wearing loose, comfortable clothing. It lasts approximately an hour and incorporates stretches that move and stimulate the meridian system (energy lines used in acupuncture). It is a completely different experience from table massage, one that leaves you feeling alive and energized.

Vibrational Healing - 40 minutes $30 (Or add to any massage for only $20.)
This is a form of sound therapy that will leave you feeling divinely calm, relaxed and energized. I use the harmonic tones of Solfeggio tuning forks in a specific way that both cleanses your energy field as it shifts and moves healing energy throughout your chakras and entire auric field. The session is both powerful and profound. I just know you will love it!

Bio-Magnetic Healing - 30 minutes $25
Using Therapeutic Touch & Reiki,this session uses the subtle energies that both surround your body in the aura and permeate your body to give it life and vitality. It uses both light touch and no touch techniques to move, shift and disperse energy in ways that promote emotional wellness and empower the body's innate healing abilities. This type of healing work has been used by laypeople since Biblical times and earlier, and is sometimes referred to as hands-on healing, spiritual energy healing or laying on of hands. This type of session promotes total wellness and the integration of body and mind with heart and soul.
